General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) has an immediate opening for a Senior Counterintelligence Investigator to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation''s fundamental defense services. Key Responsibilities
Senior Counterintelligence Investigators on our Intelligence and Operations Analysis team analyze information and intelligence and develop research studies and recommendations pertaining to potential security threats to the work of our clients. These employees also provide intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multilateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility and Areas of Interest. Senior Counterintelligence Investigators handle requirements and collection management, as well as the analysis and evaluation of data assessment strategies. Those strategies may include: sampling, statistical analysis, evaluation, flow processing and management assessment. Additional Responsibilities require research, development and preparation of briefings and analyses which may include narrative, tabular and graphic materials. The Senior Counterintelligence Investigator will work closely with stakeholders to promote information sharing and collaboration. Standard operating procedures, validation criteria for personnel, entities, components, and Communities of Interest will also be developed and disseminated by this employee. The position also requires interpretation and understanding of Intelligence Community policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and objectives, as well as dedicated, centralized, and long-range program and budget expertise. The employee may also be asked to mine data for unknown linkages in existing information or to maintain integrated database tracking systems for controlled correspondence.

Candidates must show a sophisticated understanding of statistical analysis and complex intelligence policies and procedures, and must demonstrate the capacity to successfully support GDAIS intelligence operations.
Experience with Law Enforcement (LE)/Counterintelligence (CI) agencies: FBI, AFOSI, NCIS, US Army MI, etc.
The Senior Counterintelligence Investigator position requires a bachelors degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent, and a minimum of ten years of related experience; or a masters degree and a minimum of eight years of related experience.
Department of Defense Top Secret/SCI w/Poly required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Graduation from an accredited Law Enforcement (LE)/Counterintelligence (CI) training program, i.e., FBI, JCITA, AFOSI, NCIS, US Army MI, etc.
Interview and Interrogation skills and experience are highly preferred
Knowledge of the Intelligence Community and related policies and procedures
Familiarity with Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) policy and techniques and graduation from the Interagency Training Center (ITC)
is highly desired
Professional IT security certifications, i.e., Security+, CISSP, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
