Seeking a proactive and forward-thinking Microsoft Systems Engineer to lead Windows Administration and automation for production network infrastructure. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for server installation, administration, automation, tier-3 support for mission critical systems. Responsibilities Integrate and design systems, perform installations, optimization, integration, troubleshooting and upgrades of all IT systems or components Translate requirements into Red Hat, Microsoft and virtualization solutions (VMWare or HyperV) Work closely with cross functional teams and proactively work on issues Serve as subject expert for issues that arise with the designed and implemented solutions Provide technical support, troubleshooting and complex problem resolution on escalated issues while monitoring and maintaining environment stability Act as advocate for the customers technical needs while ensuring compliance and adherence to all applicable processes and procedures, and standards Create and update concise documents and diagrams using MS Visio and MS Office Ensure network complies with Sponsor's Partner's Directive 503 standards Ability to provide after-hours on-call support as needed.

Certifications:
VMWare Certified Professional (VCP)
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
Mandatory Skills
Demonstrated experience performing System Administration functions, complex troubleshooting and building technical solutions to solve problems
Demonstrated experience with IT operations, server, storage, network, systems management, DR/Business recovery practices
Demonstrated PowerShell or Python experience
Demonstrated experience with Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, sites, trusts
Demonstrated experience with Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7
Demonstrated experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting virtual environments
Demonstrated experience configuring and troubleshooting CIFS and NFS shares
Optional Skills
Experience configuring routers and switches
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows 8.1
Experience with MS SQL, Exchange 2010, Lync 2010
Experience with Red Hat Administration
Experience with NetApp Data OnTap
Experience with NetBackup
Experience with Sponsor and Sponsor Partner systems accreditation Sponsor's Directive 6/3 and Sponsor's Partner's Directive 503 standards
