RF Systems Engineer

KBR is seeking a motivated RF System Engineer to work onsite supporting our Intelligence Community in Reston, VA.
A qualified candidate will have broad experience working in the development of end user equipment and radio frequency transport segments.
Description/
Responsibilities:
Provide RF engineering design and analysis assessments for Comm user equipment and transport segmentsDevelop plans and integrate user equipment with a variety of short and long range terrestrial and Space based RF networksConduct assessments including modulation techniques, antennae characteristics, software defined radio methodology, digital signal processing, and GNU standardsConduct test design; anomaly resolution; system deployment and sustainment support.
Perform or assist in design, development, installation and testing of operational equipmentConduct system anomaly trouble shooting and interface with vendors and mission partners to ensure systems will meet the end goals of stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:

years' experience working in RF communications development industryExperience with RF communications systems engineering and/or integration is highly desiredExperience with RF antenna design, analog and digital signal conversion, and Satellite Comm is highly desiredExperience with waveforms, waveform design, and characteristics reducing probability of detection/interceptionExperience with Digital Signal Processors and the application to perform traditional and non-traditional functionsExperience with Position Navigation Timing, RF interception, and geo location techniquesExperience with user equipment (to include mobile devices), data transport and processing across local wide area and global networks for information transfer is highly desiredFamiliarity with foundational concepts of cognitive radios and technology leveraging for a range of purposesProficiency in using Matlab, Simulink and/or other modeling, simulating, or analyzing tools is highly desiredStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environment
Qualifications:
Experience supporting the Intelligence Community is desiredExperience in the telecommunications industry is desiredBachelors of Science Degree are in Electrical Engineering or related discipline; graduate level degrees is desired.
Some OCONUS travel may be required.
Security Requirements:
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
