Technical Director (Cost Estimation) - TS/SCI

KBR is seeking a highly motivated Technical Director to provide strategic leadership, guidance, and outreach towards the research and recommendation of innovative, independent solutions to enhance the collection, analysis, and core enabling functions, studies, and problems to meet current and future intelligence priorities.
Support the Government in conducting cost analysis research and methods development to advance the cost estimating capabilities based on industry standards, technology tools available, and other best practices.
Lead and coordinate cost research oriented towards investigating and developing/incorporating new cost estimating methodologies, best practices, and current applicable business standards, such as Cost Estimating Relationships and planning factors based on cost, technical, performance, schedule and programmatic information.
The Technical Director will also recommend improvements to existing cost databases and models, and available tools that will advance cost estimating capabilities.
The Technical Director will support outreach activities with government organizations and industry symposia.
An active TS/SCI with a polygraph is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Data Science and Analysis, Data Management, Economics or related disciplineMinimum 12 years of DoD, IC or relevant industry cost analysis experienceMinimum 10 years in relevant area plus five years of team lead experience.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Cost Analysis, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplinesCost estimating experience in the following domain areas:
Space hardware (bus and payload)Space systems (eg NASA/Air Force, NRO, Commercial)Launch systemsGround systems (eg mission management, command and control, mission processing, ground terminals, communications networks, data centers)Software cost estimatingParametric and analogy-based estimatingData collection and normalizationModel developmentMethod development (eg multivariate regression analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, cost improvement curve analysis)Technical understanding of satellite systemsExperience using risk analysis software (eg /@Risk, Crystal Ball)Experience using statistical analysis software (eg SAS, SPSS, etc.
)Preferred Security Requirements:
Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Polygraph.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
