Logistics Specialists monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities.
They receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data center Technicians and Engineers.
They will also be responsible for loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations.
This position involves frequent lifting of materials and products.
Logistics Specialists will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company.
They must also maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all work spaces.
They must be available to work weekend shift work.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment, as well as experience and knowledge of reverse logistics processes.
Experience handling vendor relationships is helpful.

Data center support - Logistics Remote SitesKey job responsibilities Inventory Management (receiving, picking, stowing of assets) Customer engagement with local site teams Auditing of processes/standards on weekly/monthly basis Frequenting bending, lifting up to 39 lbs, and standing while working with materials Process improvement and light project work Travel between sites may be requiredA day in the lifeLogistics remote site specialists will operate out of data centers within 1 of 4 regions in the IAD cluster.
Daily support will involve engaging with peers and stakeholder teams, moving inventory between locations as needed by customers, and maintaining inventory accuracy with a 0% margin of error.
Logistics specialists will function as part of a team of 10-15 people within their space to provide customer support.
About the teamThe Logistics team in IAD is responsible for providing end-to-end inventory management services for server and network equipment used within the Data Center including:
receiving, RMA, media handling, parts transfers, maintaining inventory stock profiles, customer service, mitigating upstream/downstream barriers, establishing/enhancing processes, and general safety and security of the buildings and teams within.
IAD is comprised of Data Centers across the Manassas, Herndon, Chantilly, and Ashburn region and are serviced by the Logistics remote site and ICQA teams.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
