Acquisition Support/Systems Engineer

KBR is looking for an experienced engineer familiar with Space systems acquisitions to provide direct support for a major program Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR).
Prior experience as a COTR in a major system acquisition for Space and Ground Systems is preferred.
Current System Program Office (SPO) procurement plans include multiple spacecraft and associated ground command and control and processing system elementsJob
Responsibilities:
Provide daily support, as required, to the program COTR as his/her primary SETA interfaceAnalyze performance, cost and schedule metrics - review for accuracy, reasonableness and achievabilityAssist the COTR in identifying, tracking, evaluating and mitigating program technical, financial and schedule risksParticipate in the contractor risk, issue and opportunity (RIO) management processEstablish and/or maintain processes to track and report progress on the accomplishment of all contract actionsEstablish and maintain processes to track and report progress on the review and approval of contractor submitted Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) itemsEstablish and maintain Government Estimate at Complete (GEAC) inputsCollect, evaluate, edit and organize award fee inputs from all sources for review and action by the COTRWork closely with the prime contractor and subcontractors to help ensure that program objectives are achieved within stringent cost, schedule, and technical performance requirementsReview complex technical design documentation and provide feedback to the COTR and other SPO personnelPerform technical evaluations of contractor Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and document draft negotiating positions for COTR approvalAttend SPO meetings as appropriate at the request of the COTRProvide feedback to the COTR on all aspects of program statusRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical disciplineBasic understanding of IC/DoD satellite systems and architecturesExcellent interpersonal, leadership, team building and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to be effective in a government-contractor team environmentExperience in NRO acquisition and program management processesFamiliarity with Earned Value Measurement (EVM) processesExcellent oral and written communication skillsPast COTR certification or equivalent experienceDemonstrated sustained superior performance - Availability to travel domestically
Qualifications:
Experience with IC and/or Department of Defense (DoD) space and ground architecturesExperience in engineering and acquisition of complex space and ground NTM systemsPrior experience with GEOINT, COMM or SIGINT ground mission control or mission processing systems, and/or mission operations is highly desiredSecurity Clearance Requirements:
ACTIVE TS/SCI with CI Poly.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
