Senior System Engineer

KBR is seeking a Sr.
System Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
This position supports the Enterprise Engineering and Integration Executive.
The organization develops and maintains enterprise technical performance measures, evaluates engineering processes and test events, and supports overall enterprise readiness.
Position ResponsibilitiesGenerate synthesize, and update technical materials (such as white papers and briefings)Review technical documents and models and provide comments and recommendations on the contentCollect and curate ideas for enterprise improvement from individuals and organizationsCollect and curate solutions to mission and enterprise discrepanciesEnsure that that there are appropriate communications and record keeping for such materials in shares sites accessible by appropriate community of interest membersAdvise on current and near-term issues to include such items as assessments of technologies, coordination with other offices, risks to acquisition programs, and outreach with senior officials across the government and commercial sectorsSchedule and track the various communities of interest for each effort as directedFacilitate and/or attend working technical forums and communicate effectively across all mediaIdentify, create, and/or update enterprise engineering processes as needed or taskedAdjudicate, prioritize, assign, and track internal and external tasks to ensure timely accomplishment and quality of assigned actions and provide regular status reports as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree - STEM focus15 years of relevant experienceExperience with the Intelligence CommunityDesired QualificationsAdvanced Degree - STEM focusExperience with the customer organizationClearance RequirementsMust have an active TS/SCI with CI Poly to be considered for this position.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
