KBR is seeking a highly motivated Cost Analyst to provide knowledge and expertise applying principles, theories and methods of cost estimation and analysis in support of our Government customers.
An active TS/SCI is requiredMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Operations Research, Cost Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplineMinimum 1 to 5 years of DoD, IC or industry cost analysis experienceApply principles, theories and methods of cost estimation to complex Government acquisitionsDevelop cost estimating relationships through the application of advanced statistical analysis techniquesDevelop models/methods for space systems and their associated ground and launch systems across multiple space-related product linesAbility to collect and normalize data and design cost estimating methods and modelsDevelop life-cycle cost estimates using a variety of methods (eg parametric, analogy, etc)Experience leading life-cycle cost estimates for major system acquisitionsAbility to identify key cost and technical risk areas, and translate the risk areas into program cost impactsProficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelProficient with the application of Monte Carlo simulation techniquesExcellent communication skills with the ability to present results to senior leadershipAbility to work independently and lead detail-oriented tasks
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Operations Research, Cost Analysis, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplinesCost estimating experience in the following domain areas:
Space hardware (bus and payload)Space systems (eg NASA/Air Force, NRO, Commercial)Launch systemsGround systems (eg mission management, command and control, mission processing, ground terminals, communications networks, data centers)Software cost estimatingParametric and analogy based estimatingData collection and normalizationModel developmentMethod development (eg multivariate regression analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, cost improvement curve analysis)Technical understanding of satellite systemsExperience using risk analysis software (eg /@Risk, Crystal Ball)Experience using statistical analysis software (eg SAS, SPSS, etc)ICEAA certification; either Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA)Preferred Security Requirements:
Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
