Overview:
Skilled at reading financial reports? Love working with numbers? Then this opportunity may be for you! Together with other members of the corporate finance team, you can help maintain the companys general ledger and assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
You will play an important role in providing accurate and timely financial information for internal and external reports.
Employees at this location have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule, which means that they will report to the office some days during the week and can work remotely on others.
Responsibilities:
A Day in the Life:
Preparing monthly general ledger journal entries for our Trade Show & Events divisionPerforming month end review of operating unit financial statements as assignedPreparing various daily & monthly account reconciliationsPreparing month end financial and operational reports as assignedAssisting with the quarter-end and year-end financial close and reporting processAssisting with preparation of information for the year-end tax packageProviding back up support to other staff accountants as assignedAssisting other corporate and field departments with general ledger and financial reporting
Qualifications:
Youre a Contender if You Have:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required1
years of experience in accounting or related field (preferred)Proficient in Microsoft ExcelStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong organizational and analytical skillsAble to read and understand technical forms and financial reportsWilling to establish and maintain effective working relationships Additional Information:
