Space Systems Engineer - TS/SCI

KBR is seeking a Space Systems Engineer to maintain and manage the satellite systems specification using the Rational requirements management software tool, Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) and closely work with the satellite developer.
The candidate will also be responsible to facilitate the Specification Working Group (SWG) forum to coordinate and gain Government approval on specification changes and work with the Configuration Management personnel for formal approval of specification changes.
The candidate will also coordinate with other parts of the organization as needed on specifications that need to flow up to higher specifications outside the program officeIn addition, the candidate will support the requirement verification process tracking satellite developer submitted Requirement Verification Reports (RVRs), facilitate any verification issues at the Government led Verification Management Board (VMB) and be responsible for ensuring that all satellite requirements are sold off via SETA and Government approvals.
This position supports a program office for the NRO which provides systems engineering support to the satellite program to include requirements development, concept of operations development, advance planning of future enhancements, risk management, verification, integration, test, launch functions, on-orbit validation and calibration for SIGINT systems.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Provides day-to-day support to program office Government Points of Contact (GPOCs) to address routine actions; provides recommendations/products that reflect the best technical and programmatic path for the program office based on extensive acquisition experience.
Reviews and coordinate on all changes to specifications, ICDs and system level requirements documentation.
Reviews space vehicle level artifacts in support of major design review milestones (eg PDR, CDR).
Tracks development issues, significant accomplishments and upcoming events; provides status updates to the customer.
Attends system level design reviews, and program management reviews to assess design maturity, requirements compliance and to provide informed technical recommendations to the customer.
Reviews, documents and traces functional and interface requirements for spacecraft subsystems, and coordinates with other engineers, FFRDC and developer personnel to resolve issues.
Develops and maintains productive relationships with prime contractor counterparts, functional counterparts, and other spacecraft subsystem subject matter experts.
This position will require technical breadth as well as programmatic expertise.
Willingness to learn all aspects of a satellite program including Ground, Comms, Launch Systems Integration, Assembly Test & Launch, Integration & Test, Payload, Space Vehicle, Systems Engineering, External Interfaces, Security and the associated contract structure and budget management is a plus.
Successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with Action Officers, SETA, FFRDC, and all levels of program management.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
