Software Developer

GDIT is seeking a Software Developer to support our EMITS Program in Wiesbaden, Germany.
The Software Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain code, scripts, services, and web based applications to satisfy customer requirements.
The Software Developer will also perform all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, planning, and design to develop systems that satisfy user/business needs.
Job DutiesProven experience with software and infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Docker, and Puppet.
Skilled in C++, C#, Java, Python, and PowerShell with experience implementing solutions with existing modules as well as developing and maintaining new modules.
Experience with data flow engineering in both on-premise and cloud environments, including experience with AWS and Azure.
Prior experience with Enterprise Service Bus packages such as Apache NiFi or Muse.
Competence working with source control systems including Git.
Comfortable working with online ticketing, documentation, and collaboration platforms including JIRA and Confluence.
Follows a formal design process using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques.
Adheres to laws, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery of software and web applications (eg, software reuse, modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, fault tolerant).
Coordinates creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrate them into a coherent site design.
Designs and develops visually-pleasing, content rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation.
Develops and maintains software and web development technical documentation to assist with software and web application maintenance and upgrades.
Provides software process management and configuration management throughout the software / web development lifecycle.
Integrates new software and web products with existing software and web applications in order to improve the functionality or design of the system.
Experience working with and development of DoD Intelligence Architecture highly desired.
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering/Development or related field and 8
years of experience.
An active TS/SCI Security ClearanceProficiency in the use of one or more technologies such as.
NET, C#, JavaScript, C++, Shell, PowerShell, HTML, PHP, Agile Framework, vSphere, ESXi, JIRA, Confluence, Gitlab, Jenkins, Nexus, Kong, Swagger, SonarQube, Fortify, OWASP, DAST, Threadfix, Discourse, AWS, and AzureCandidates must have valid DoD 8570 IAT II certificationMust be eligible for German TESA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
