Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a fast paced technology company and a leader in the world of Data Centers.
We are expanding our infrastructure management team and are looking for proven technology managers with people management/development experience with the drive and vision to take AWS Data Center Operations to the next level.
The successful candidate will have experience managing managers and teams with varying skillsets.
The team will create, track and control budgets.
They will also streamline current processes for maximum efficiency.
In this role you will mentor people in all levels, sponsor and deliver large projects and propose technical solutions to complicated problems.
Customer trust is foremost for cloud services provided by Amazon Web Services.
Our customers must be guaranteed that their data will never be exposed.
To ensure this, physical security of the data centers and the cradle to grave tracking of any and all media types (disks, solid state disks, flash cards etc) are essential.
This manager will manage a team that provides tracking and audit of all media.
They also manage scanning of inventory and destruction using approved equipment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of DECOM Managers and 30
hourly associates within Regional Data CentersEnsure overall safety, quality, performance and customer experience across multiple teams/shiftsStrategic planning and forecasting; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; resolve problems; and address staffing needsMentor, train and develop direct reports for career progressionWrite and deliver annual performance reviews to staffDevelop, improve, and share operational best practices across the regionWork with other supporting functions to develop performance KPI and metrics and drive throughput efficiencies by continuously improving operational processes.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
