DOT Compliance Specialist , Data Center Community Compliance Team (DOT)
Amazon Web Services is seeking a bright, motivated, hardworking individual to fill the DOT Compliance Specialist role.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, able to handle confidential information, as well as a demonstrated ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities.
Must have the ability to communicate well and to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Other responsibilities will include:
Key job responsibilitieso Serve as designated safety representative coordinating and implementing all areas of the Amazon Global Driver Safety Program o Assist with accident response, documentation, and escalation through internal and external programs.
o Provide administrative support, project management and high-volume data managemento Track performance and provide identified retraining and process improvement opportunities to further develop driver trainingo Provide timely and accurate reporting on the completion of trainings, compliance, safety dutieso Communicate driver safety bulletins and updated policy announcements to management and driverso Create new training content to address gaps in driver skill, or mitigate safety and compliance risko Educate and audit driver safety and compliance standards such as:
driver vehicle inspection reports, hours of service, trip planning and safe road driving practiceso Implement and review Amazon's global safety policies, ensuring that local legislative requirements are also meto Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through the conduct of daily, weekly, and monthly auditso Create, review and update procedures as requiredo Identify new technology and implement its use to improve overall compliance goals.
o Process new vehicle on-boarding request to ensure safety standards a being adheredo Manage ticketing system and ensure tickets are closed within expected timeline o Consolidate data from multiple sources to support daily workflow and business needs.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
