Amazon Web Services is seeking a highly motivated person to join our Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Team.
The group works to support the critical physical infrastructure that supports Amazon Web Services.
Specifically, this team directly supports day to day operations staff as the primary technical resource for the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) fleet.
The position will be focused on overall availability and reliability of redundant power devices.
Additionally the candidate must adhere to all safety and security policies and meet all defined service level agreements of the ATS Operations program.
The candidate will assist site engineers and ATS Ops Leads with daily operational tasks that include but are not limited to:
root cause analysis on ATS failures, support ATS firmware upgrades, support ATS hardware replacements, support new construction ATS installations, ATS fleet management and uniformity, ATS vendor management, ATS asset auditing and lastly provide metric availability reporting on a weekly basis.
The candidate will not only assist in maintaining a high reliability and performance but also keep operating costs in facilities at a minimum while supporting the ATS program.
The ATS Ops Coordinator is the window into the data center front line and will be called upon to provide updates during large-scale events regarding ATS hardware and peripheral hardware.
Responsibilities - Interact and provide support to site operation teams not limited to the following:
technical support, data gathering, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting in support of the ATS Ops program - Perform tasks in support of initiatives/projects related to ATS Program as directed by lead and/or manager - Lead work groups on small-scale projects with minimal assistance from region lead or manager - Follow published standard operating procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries - Maintain SLAs through the implementation of proactive detection, event correlation and reporting - Provide logistics and warehousing support for ATS Ops program - Update, track, and report ATS backfeed data into ATS Dashboard - Provide cross functional support for UPS Battery and Non-destructive testing teams.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
