Cyber Security Engineer - TS/SCI CI Poly

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) and ensure our nations network and intelligence apparatus.
The Cyber Security Engineer will support our nations SIGNIT and Satellite Intelligence networks to meet the requirements of DoD and Intelligence Community operations.
This position is considered senior and the ideal candidate(s) will have a strong background with SIEM tools - Splunk, IDS/IPS, Wireshark, PowerShell.
Furthermore, this position requires the ideal candidate(s) to have an active TS/SCI CI Poly prior to entry on duty.
Client offices located in Chantilly, VA & Aurora, CO - this position will be operated inside of a SCIF and is fully onsite.
Responsibilities of the Cyber Security Engineer:
oResponsibilities will include providing insight into efficiencies that can be gained from the current workflow based on an understanding of the customers' requirements oPerforms engineering support and system administration of applications and systems to include installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, and back-up/restore oIdentifies potential conflicts with implementation of any cybersecurity tools within the enterprise and develops recommendations to remediate these conflicts oProvides Tier II & III maintenance/engineering support for deployed technologies while supporting Assessment and Authorization activities related to cybersecurity technologies, where applicable oProvides ideas for automating repetitive project tasks and metrics collection using scripts and assists with testing/implementation to production oBuilding audit SIEM tools, Splunk/ArcSight, Linux, scripting with Puppet, Chef, custom dashboards Qualifications for the Cyber Security Engineer:
oBS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical field o5
years of experience in cybersecurity network defense, cyber tools engineering or information assurance solutions oExperience implementing and using complicated software products that involve multiple components oExperience in deploying and/or supporting enterprise security software products such as firewalls, IPS, Anti-Virus solutions, application firewalls, high availability solutions, network management systems, virtual systems oA solid understanding of Windows and Linux systems, general operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts is required o Active TS/SCI CI POLY Clearance - will be required to verify prior to submittal Desired Skills/Preferences for the Cyber Security Engineer:
oMust have or be willing to obtain IAT Level III or higher certification within 6 months of hire Compensation for the Cyber Security Engineer:
oSalary Range:
o $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience oFull

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
