Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Logistics Engineer Senior Specialist to support the growing product portfolio in Chantilly, VA location.
Individual will provide program support in a full range of services including technical writing, technical training plan development and execution of classroom-led training events.
Essential Functions:
Roles & Responsibilities will include though not limited to the following:
Develop operational procedures, theory of operations, troubleshooting, fault isolation procedures, test, and repair procedures Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and maintenance manuals per applicable industry and/or customer specifications Maintain a comprehensive library of technical documentation and illustrations Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style and format Ensure configuration consistency in updates/revisions to technical manuals Facilitates training events and assists instructors as needed.
Assists training developer with course development Builds, aligns, and qualifies precision opto-mechanical assemblies and systems.
Disassembles and re-assembles subassemblies and systems down to piece-part level Inspects components for damage, maintains equipment, and ensures calibration needs are met Manage a secure areas that focus on operations with support equipment and security measures in place to reduce cost to the customer and enable the program to operate efficiently Interface daily with program manager, system engineers, system integrators, and technical trainers Continuously look for and implement mechanisms to reduce and streamline the logistics footprint within the Proprietary business segment
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
10 years or experience in Integrated Product Support (IPS) tasks Clearance:
Active TS/SCI w/Poly or above US Government security clearance Preferred Additional Skills:
Adobe Dreamweaver and/or HTML/CSS experience Knowledge of basic PHS&T and Depot operations Understanding of basic shop math such as ratios, graphs, algebra, and basic geometry Experience with Microsoft Office and computer proficient Must be detail-oriented and organized Excellent written and verbal communications skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Recommended Skills Adobe Dreamweaver Algebra Analytical Assembly And Installation Attention To Detail Calibration Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
