Job DescriptionNSD is now part of the Hub Group family increasing our Logistics service offerings in the Final Mile space.
NSD provides Basic, Threshold, and White Glove delivery, product assembly & installation, warehousing and distribution, store replenishment, and reverse logistics solutions to many of the largest retailers, distributors, and manufacturers in the U.
S.
We're equipped to handle almost any product delivery, including high-value consumer electronics, appliances, fitness equipment, furniture, outdoor living, home improvement products, and much more.
Major
Responsibilities:
oMaintain relationships with existing carriers oProcurement of new carriers through networking, referrals, web searches and cold calling oNegotiation of contracts with new and existing carriers oCarrier onboarding and continuous training (virtual or on-site when required) oManagement of carrier contracts, SOPs, and carrier bulletins oEnsure carriers are meeting all expectations as agreed to in Master Carrier Agreements and Customer SOP's oPerforming Quarterly Business Reviews oIdentify opportunities for improving our last-mile delivery process and carrier relationships oCommunicate effectively with operations, account management,sales, and executive teams by providing weekly network health updatesoSupport sales and business development team regarding new and existing business opportunities oMaintain network compliance to ensure carrier insurance and DOT requirements are being metMinimum
Qualifications:
oBachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, transportation, business management, or 2
years of related transportation experience required oContractual experience including price, terms and conditions negotiations.
oStrong attention to detail oExcellent written and oral communication skills oProficiency in Microsoft Office Software:
(Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams, SharePoint) Recommended Skills Account Management Attention To Detail Business Development Business Management Cold Calling Communication Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
