Responsibilities:
Financial Services Budget Analyst shall support all aspects of developing, executing, and monitoring budgets (both for internal needs, and for developing and executing the National Intelligence Program (NIP) Budget.
In-depth knowledge related to one or more of the designated:
oConduct budget analysis of financial data calls and portfolio reviews.
oDevelopment and evaluation of fiscal program builds.
oDevelop spend plans, tracking spending and execution, documenting financial commitments, obligations, and expenses.
oDraft inputs to the Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB) to Congress.
oSupport the production of the CBJB NIP related sections.
oDevelop strategic program briefs.
oAssess IC budget for balance across functions and disciplines.
oParticipate in the Intelligence planning, Programming, Budget, and Evaluation (IPPBE).
oContribute and produce talking points, briefs, products, reports, congressionally directed actions, and mandated reports pertaining to budgets and through large interagency forums and working groups.
oWork with USG and IC partners through large interagency forums and working groups.
oSupport budget formulation efforts.
oDocument financial commitments, obligations, and expenses.
oPrepare and process transactions, ensuring payments are certified.
oDevelop fiscal guidance and implementation schedules for each budget phase for review and acceptance.
oCollect and analyze data for financial data calls and portfolio reviews.
oTrack legislation that may impact budget.
oDevelop financial standard operating procedures.
oDevelop cost benefit trade-offs and investment strategies.
oRecord and track interagency agreements for facilitating Economy Act and other financial transactions.
RequirementsoTS/SCI with PolyoDemonstrated experience with either budget formulation or budget execution activities.
oDemonstrated experience with budget analysis.
oDemonstrated experience with IPPBE processes.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
