Responsibilities:
The Requirements Engineer (RE) Technical Advisor supports the Intelligence Community (IC) client's Communications (COMM) Directorate's COMM Architecture and Systems Engineering (CASE) organization.
The RE works with director and group level leaders, service providers, and groups within the enterprise to develop, evaluate, advise, and monitor Request for Changes (RFC's) to communicate and facilitate program needs across the enterprise.
The RE will leverage a strong engineering background and use JSMART as the primary requirements management tool, along with HelpNow as needed.
Maintains positive relationships with mission partners and coordinates evolving needs with different group's and offices to ensure goals and timelines can be met with an ever expanding architecture and catalog of services.
The RE is focused on advising COMM CASE on engineering requirements to best fit needs.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting the development of requirements Assessing and advising stakeholders Entering change requests into JSMART as needed.
Tracking the progress of changes.
Keeping leadership aware of statuses related to creation, coordination, and approval of Request For Changes (RFC's).
Preparing briefings and presenting requirement summaries and status at review meetings.
Facilitating technical meetings stakeholders, as needed.
Navigating/coordinating needs across the COMM ecosystem.
Engaging SMEs to ensure requirements are defined and assessed.
Qualifications:
Required:
Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD.
Bachelors degree preferably in science or engineering.
Must possess and be able to maintain an active TS/SCI with Poly.
5-7 years of experience with advising on engineering requirements.
Knowledge and experience with the customer's Requirements Management processes, plans, and tools (JSMART/GFORGE, HelpNow/ServiceNow).
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
