As a Procurement Analyst you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.
Our work depends on a Procurement Analyst joining our IT Hardware Server/ Storage team as part of our Supply Chain organization.
This Procurement Analyst will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating strategic procurements that are aligned with enterprise strategies and objectives.
This team's main responsibility is to provide support to GDIT's data center, server, storage projects.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Manage the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements.
Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.
Management of RFQ/RFP's from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution Completion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.
Ensures high internal customer satisfaction.
Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor's Degree plus 2
years of related experience; OR in lieu of degree, 6 years of related experience is required 2
years in government contracts and/or strategic procurement 2
years experience managing and executing services agreements Location:
Hybrid (1-2 days per week onsite, once trained) Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company.
Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data.
Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently.
Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
