Director of Accounting
We are seeking an Director of Accounting to join our team and provide assistance with oversight of day-to-day accounting activities and staff development.
This position will be located in the corporate headquarters.
Director of Accounting Duties:
Costpoint 8.
0 and Deltek TE Time and Expense and contacts modules preferred Oversee AP and cash disbursements In-house payroll processing Prepare monthly financials with all related supporting schedules and account reconciliations Oversee and prepare month end journal entries Ad hoc financial reports for management and operations Audits from government agencies including Annual Financial Review.
Bank reports and on-line banking system.
Monthly revenue recognition including invoicing and unbilled schedules.
Annual Incurred Cost Submission Director of Accounting
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Minimum of 10 years, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience to lead a small accounting team.
Concentration in government contracts and cost accounting in IDIQ, CPFF, Firm-Fixed Price and T&M contracts.
Knowledge of all modules of Costpoint 8 with the exception of Inventory.
Understanding of FAR regulations as it pertains to transaction accounting Proficient in Excel, ADOBE and Microsoft Word Preferred
Qualifications:
CPA is a plus but not required Personnel management experience Salary Range:
$150-175 Outstanding benefit package included.
