Graphic Visual Design Intern

Overview:
CORT is looking for a highly motivated intern for a temporary, part-time Graphic/Visual Design position.
This is a flexible hybrid role based out of our Chantilly, VA office and is responsible for supporting Product Development projects and initiatives.
Qualified candidates should possess strong graphic design skills, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and be able to organize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
This opportunity is open to students and graduates.
The position will require 15 - 20 hours / week and pays $20 / hour.
CORT is a Berkshire Hathaway company that serves as the worlds largest provider of furniture rentals.
You will be helping the product development team craft messages to the internal organization by creating visuals that are related to furniture product education.
What We Offer:
The Product Development team at CORT is looking for someone to help us visualize our products and our product ecosystem.
This position provides ample opportunity to create and design graphics to be used extensively by the internal sales and operations teams in the US and UK.
Were not a graphics department and we need a subject matter expert to help define our graphic language.
We want extreme creativity and out of the box thinking to reshape how our department visually communicates.

Responsibilities:
Create and present visual design concepts Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadlines Retouch and manipulate images Receive feedback and collaborate with fellow team members to revise work and refine concepts Merge data to create graphic documents in InDesign Transform visuals concepts from rough idea to polished digital and print visuals Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Degree in (or pursuing a degree in) Visual Design, Graphic Design, or something similar Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Software- including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Knowledge of Sketch Up is a plus Understanding of architectural drawings & renderings is a plus Understanding of data merge from Excel into InDesign is a plus About CORT:
