Information Systems Security Engineer, ISSE with Security Clearance
Description SAIC is seeking a highly capable and experienced candidate to work in a customer front office environment as part of a multi-person teamThe candidate will support the development of artifacts needed for IT system accreditation and will track system accreditation status and renewal dates to proactively keep systems in complianceThe successful candidate will bring knowledge and experience with the customer's accreditation process, how to work with program teams and engineers to understand the details of their mission systems, and then draft the documents required to obtain accreditation approvalThis position requires someone that actively engages with engineering teams to understand their systems, then be hands-on to write documents that will be coordinated with the ISSOs/ISSMs to obtain system accreditation approvalQualificationso Minimum of 9 years of relevant experienceo Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Polyo Bachelor's Degree or experience can be substituted for the degreeo Experience baselining current network systems and developing and implementing a plan to ensure systems remain in compliance with customer policies and procedureso Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to track numerous systems and their statuso Knowledge of system security policies and requirementso Ability to work with system owners to help them maintain compliance of their systems and to advise and develop documents for them to obtain accreditation approvalo Exceptional interpersonal skills to work with the customer and other contractors to tactfully achieve mission objectiveso Proven ability to maintain configuration management of tracking sheets to ensure accuracy or reporting on status Covid Policy:
