Jr Network Engineer needed for a 2-year contract opportunity with SOC's client to work in Chantilly, VirginiaActive Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph is required! DESCRIPTION o Experience with both Cisco and Juniper routers o Installs, configures, and supports an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), NRO's Internet Network, Intranet and Internet and other data communications systems or a segment of a network systemMaintains network hardware and softwareMonitors network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availabilityMay supervise other network support and client server specialists and plan, coordinate, and implement network security measureso Oversees network control centersProvides support to projects that involve networksEvaluates new network technologies and makes recommendations to project managers regarding the integration of these technologies into the existing networkPlans new network configurations and integration into existing networks to maintain optimal performanceo Ensures that plans for hardware and communications are adequateDevelops and implements methodologies for analysis, installation, and support of voice communications systemsProvides support in the translation of business requirements into telecommunications (e.
