Core Network/Firewall Engineer needed for a multi-year contract opportunity with SOC's client to work in Chantilly, VirginiaActive TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required! Responsibilities Firewall engineers needed to support our government customers' global enterprise networksFirewall engineering team provides next generation firewall solution for modernizing the firewall infrastructure, assists with migrating traffic from legacy firewall infrastructure to the new solution, and supports firewall service requestsThe job duties of a firewall engineer under Core Services group:
o Developing next generation firewall solutiono Performing lab equipment evaluation, integration, and testingo Working with network engineering team to develop a migration plan and assisting migration efforto Developing and maintaining relevant technical documentationo On as-needed basis, the engineer will also be responsible for supporting Tier-4 production firewall troubleshooting and developing pro-active firewall data analysisQualificationso Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
Candidate must have 16 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and educationThis equates to a Doctorate and 8 years of experience OR Masters and 10 years, Bachelors and 12 years, Associates and 14 years or HS and 16 yearsMust meet Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 certification requirements.
o Required Clearance:
Active TS/SCI with CI Poly.

Qualifications:
Familiarity with Alto, Forcepoint, and Cisco ASAEmployment Pre-requisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position:
