Senior Scrum Master with Security Clearance
Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Senior Level Scrum Master to work with our team building the next generation Extract, Transform and Load platform.
This platform feeds directly to analytical tools that extract valuable intelligence from collected cyber data.
The ideal candidate will help the team self-organize, self-manage, and deliver by teaching and coaching effective Agile practices.
o Act as a servant leader to the Scrum Team.
o Help scrum team achieve in areas including quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
Help team focus on daily and Sprint Goals in the context of current PI Objectives.
o Guide team in establishing normalized story points for estimating user stories.
o Facilitate all team meetings, including the daily stand-up, Sprint Planning, Team Demos, and Retrospectives, and other project-related meetings, coaching the team on Scrum principles and best practices.
o Collaborate with other impacted teams (e.
g.
, Other Scrum or Product teams, Product Owners, Stakeholders) to ensure alignment between priorities, scope, and all deployment-related activities.
o Facilitating open discussion and conflict resolution; identify and resolve issues that might arise during scrum execution; update activities in a project management tracking tool.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
o A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field of study, and 8
years of relevant experience.
Additional experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
o TS/SCI with Poly level clearanceo Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a Scrum Master on a Scrum teamo Knowledge of and experience with JIRA/Confluenceo Knowledge of Agile methodology and scrumo Experience with scrum project management, agile software development, and software version control managemento Excellent written and verbal communication skillso Strong leadership skillso Adept at organizing and motivating teamso Adept at solving problems
Qualifications:
o Prior experience in software development, preferably in a Java/Open Source technical environmento Certification:
Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or equivalento Experience working within a DevSecOps culture.
o Experience working with and managing expectations of multiple Product Owners.
o Familiarity with AWS Recommended Skills Agile Methodology Certified Scrum Master Coaching And Mentoring Communication Conflict Resolution Confluence Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
