Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Mission Thread Lead (MTL) with Security Clearance
Overview:
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) as a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Analyst for multiple satellite payloads on multiple SIGINT platforms.
Key duties/responsibilities include, but not limited to:
o Provide subject matter expertise and work with the multiple payloads to support collection of requirements, translating those requirements into technical solutions and providing information on how current solutions can satisfy mission needso Support end to end (E2E) closure of mission thread for new satellite system with new payloadso Support the mission for Transition to operationso Support mission requirements, so that when development contractors identify a spec non compliance the SME can assess the significance of the outage to mission degradationo Understand the mission data flow from the satellite sensor through processing and how subsystems contribute to and are integrated to support the missiono Responsible for data quality and performance assessmentso Collaborate as necessary with other SPO Divisions, the NRO Enterprise, Users and Stakeholders and development contractorso Provide subject matter expertise support to satellite engineers and integrated product teamso Support the training of mission operators and analystso Identify early, pre-launch test opportunities to reduce risk and on-orbit validation test durationso Working with other SIGINT staff members and Users, support the definition of the next generation mission capabilities Required Qualifications:
o Technical degree and 10
years' experience with SIGINT systemso Experience working in a satellite systems program office or a satellite development facilityo Knowledge of and understanding of SIGINT tools used within the communityo Critical thinking skillso Excellent communications skillso Organizational skillso Travel within the US less than 10% of the time
Qualifications:
o In-depth knowledge of Overhead SIG INT systemso Operational experience in this mission areao Technical Master's degreeo Experience in all phases of space systems life-cycle Recommended Skills Assessments Communication Coordinating Critical Thinking Data Quality Safety Principles Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
