Information Systems Security Officer with Security Clearance
Overview VTG is looking for an ISSO in Chantilly, VAWhat will you do? - Provide information assurance support for the development and implementation of security architectures to meet new and evolving security requirements- Review and interpret system vulnerability scans and work with project teams to resolve security issues - Support the completion of Customer Security Assessment and Authority (A&A) documentation - Evaluates, develops and enhances security requirements, policy and tools- Analyze policies and procedures against customer security regulations and provide recommendations for closing gaps and improving security deficiencies- Resolve inconsistencies and irregularities in the submission of A&A documentation - Work closely with Customer Security Officers to achieve ATO- Serve as the focal POC between the project teams and the accreditation office- Review/assess network diagrams and schematicsDo you have what it takes? An Active/current TS/SCI with an active PolygraphBachelor's degree in an engineering, or equivalent technical discipline with 12 - 15 years of relevant experience; Master's degree and 10 -13 years of relevant experience; PhD and 10
years of relevant experienceDemonstrated knowledge and experience with security evaluation tools and scans in order to determine system compliance and report results to Customer managementDemonstrated domain knowledge of customer systems, networks, and how they interconnectDemonstrated knowledge and experience with ICD-503 accreditationDemonstrated knowledge and experience conducting and analyzing vulnerability scan dataDemonstrated knowledge and experience performing security operational infrastructureDemonstrated strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team in pursuit organizational goalsExperience with requirements development, testing, verification, and validation of requirementsExperience with end-to-end integration and test methods including identification and mitigation of programmatic and technical riskMust be comfortable working in a dynamic team environment working closely with Customer Management to progress through the system accreditation processDesired:
Graduate degree in an engineering, Science or other related discipline or equivalent experienceCurrent CISSP, Security+, Network
