Personnel Security Specialist with Security Clearance

Summary Join our team! The Personnel Security Specialist will provide administrative and clerical support to the Chenega SSBU Security Department headquartered in Chantilly, VAResponsibilities What You'll Get To Do:
o Assist the Industrial Security Manager and Facility Security Officer with reviewing of security investigative paperwork for accuracy.
o Process new and existing employees for security clearances and public trust positions.
o Schedule fingerprint appointments; take fingerprints using inhouse live scan equipment.
o Assist with security education and awareness training of cleared employees to include initial, annual refresher, special security briefings and debriefings, and tracking of certificates of completion.
o Perform visitor control duties to include database entry; creation; control and issuance of all company badges.
o Assist with physical security inspections (perimeter controls) within the facility; conduct end-of-day checks; main contact on after-hours call list with alarm company.
o Assist with preparation of subcontract DD254s, DoD Contract Security Classification Specification.
o Assist with administering the Insider Threat Awareness Program.
o Able to work in a fast-paced environment; handle stressful situations and delegate tasks.
o Provide coordinated communications with the customer and other on-site contractors about security operations.
o Prepare reports and submit them to the GovernmentQualifications You'll Bring These
Qualifications:
o Must be a U.
SCitizen.
o Valid state driver's license.
o Speak, understand, read, and write the English language fluently.
o Secret security clearance granted by the Defense Security Service under the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and the NISP Operating Manual (NISPOM) before starting work.
o Experience with e-QIP, SWFT, ACCS, DISS and SPOT.
o 4
years of combined security-related experience working at the corporate level of a government contractor and government (civilian or military) security, preferably requiring interaction with various government agencies in both the collateral and SCI environments.
o Excellent time management and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
o Thorough working knowledge of current security policy and procedureso Detailed knowledge of personnel security administration requirements and OPM clearance procedures.
o Knowledge of the DoD National Security Industrial Security Program Operating Manual, February 2006, Change 2, May 18, 2016.
o SharePoint experience highly desired.
o Knowledge of current issues, trends, laws, regulations, and technologieso Knowledge Access Commander Databaseo Skill in satisfactorily dealing with customers.
o Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
o Ability to use a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
