Database Developer with Security Clearance
Candidate MUST possess a TS/SCI clearance with Intel Polygraph SOFTWARE ENGINEER Customer is looking for a talented FULL STACK DEVELOPER to join their Business Data Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high quality software and API-based solutions for their clients.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about software engineering, have a strong background in software development, as well as experience working in a collaborative agile environment.
Required Skills:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldo 15 years of experience in software engineeringo Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issueso Experience with design, development, testing and operations of highly-available REST API services to support large enterprise business/mission objectiveso Experience automating API documentation using a range of solutions for generating, visualizing and maintaining up-to-date docs as your API evolves such as Swaggero Swagger takes the manual work out of API documentation, with a range of solutions for generating, visualizing, and maintaining API docso Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)o Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practiceso Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, TypeScript and JavaScripto Experience working with AWS cloud services such as S3, RDS, SNS and SQSo Familiarity with Jira or similar issue tracking toolso Excellent communication and collaboration skillso Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and DynamoDBo Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailo Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and participate in pair programmingo Understanding of security best practices for software development Desired Skills:
o Experience with frontend development using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vueo Knowledge of microservices architectures and containerizationo Familiarity with serverless computing and event-driven architectureso Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloudo Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologieso Familiarity with DevOps practices such a continuous integration and deploymento Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools like Git, Jenkins and Ansibleo Familiarity with database design and SQLo Experience with performance testing and optimizationMUST be a US Citizen with a U.
