Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Security Administration Manager to provide Peraton employees and their clients/partners with program security support and facilitate compliance for all Space and Intelligence Sector programs with operations across the United States.
The position is primarily coded as on-site work, with site visits at team locations, as required.

The Security Manager will be responsible for the following:
Lead a group of security professionals to deliver security operations across multiple facilities and programs.
Required support includes oversight and management of the execution of Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Assurance (IA), Communications Security (COMSEC), and Visitor Control primarily at the Chantilly, VA location but with cognizance over multiple NSS program locations.
Interpret and enforce government and company security policies and provide direction and guidance to program security personnel to protect and enable business.
Interpret and enforce compliance with both DoD and IC community directives and guidance across multiple programs.
Interface with program managers and maintain liaison with US Government Program Security Officers.
Provide prime and/or subcontractor security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD254's and security guidance.
Develop and revise program level security plans, procedures, and instructions, as well as ensuring their consistent application.
Oversee classification guidance to employees; the development and provision of security education and awareness training; the conduct of security briefings; lead security self-inspections and audits and investigate security incidents.
Ensure timely and relevant security volume development for various business unit proposals within the programs supportedQualifications Ability to lead and build a strong security team Ability to work independently to identify, assess & resolve unique security situations with innovative solutions geared to facilitate contract performance within the bounds of security.
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 10
years of experience or a Master's degree with 8
years security experience, to include 5
years of security office administration/management and/or facility security experience.
Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Must possess a high level of understanding of government public trust processes, security related policies, procedures, and initiatives (32 CFR Part 117, ICD 704, ICD 705, Trusted Workforce 2.
0, DODM 5205.
07 Volume 1 - 4, and DoD Directive 5205.
07 DoD Special Access Program Policy).
Basic knowledge of intrusion detection systems and access control devices.
Ability to apply the foregoing knowledge of government security requirements in a complex multi-level secure environment to ensure program compliance in non-routine situations.
Active Top Secret w/ CI poly security clearance.
Highly proficient written and verbal communications skills with emphasis on clear and concise presentation of complex information.
