Description SAIC's Corporate Security Team is looking for an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) supporting our team in Chantilly, VirginiaYou may be eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus! Will consider relocationSAIC is seeking a knowledgeable and self-driven candidate to join an outstanding Information Assurance / InfoSec teamMust be a result-oriented individual able to work on multiple systemsThe candidate will have effective interpersonal skills, ability to work with customers, employees, and leaders within and outside the organizationThe candidate will be looked to as an IA SME and will have various support teams to help manage the systemsResponsibilities Include:
o Provide support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologieso Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followedo Understanding of the US Government system accreditation process under Risk Management Framework (RMF); including directives:
Intelligence Community Directive 503 (ICD-503), Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) 1253, Defense Security Service Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM Chapter 8)o Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support assessment and accreditationo Consult on the design, development, integration, and configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmwareo Manage changes to system and assesses the security impact of those changeso Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information.o Prepare and review documentation to include System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, ATO packages, and SRTMso Coordinate government approvals, program needs, as well as corporate and customer complianceo Assist in conducting comprehensive investigation of computer security incidentso Utilize corporate and customer enterprise tools to manage, maintain, audit, track, and document systems (ADO, ServiceNow, MS Teams, etc.) Qualifications Required Education and Qualifications:
o Active TS/SCI with FS Polygrapho US Citizenship Requiredo DoD 8570 IAT/IAM level II or III certificateo Bachelor's and ten (10) years overall experience, or Master's and eight (8) years overall experienceo 5
years' experience performing and providing security support to hardware, software, and applicationso Self-starter with the ability to operate independently without supervision but also plays well with others and wants to help the team and mission succeedo Proficient and effective written and verbal communicator, able to initiate communication with SAIC management and Government agencies for support and compliance requirements

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
