We require a highly-skilled Cloud System Engineer to support the architecture, engineering and deployment of a multi-cloud client infrastructure.
You will bring significant comfort and experience with infrastructure-as-code deployment, to include Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, or like technologies.
You will use your system engineering skills to ensure internal networks and systems are supported, maintained and enhanced.
The person who steps into this role will apply sound engineering practices, solid judgement and savvy technical acumen to achieve both short and long terms goals as established by the Sponsor.
You will be part of a senior contractor panel responsible for the design, engineering and implementation of the client's networks.
You will work with the engineering team to identify needs related to client requirements; implement appropriate cloud-based solutions and integrate those solutions into the existing infrastructure.
You will build and deploy infrastructure using Automation such as Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, Linux scripting, Python, PowerShell and or like technologies.
You will develop templates or scripts to automate deployment and capabilities to facilitate deployment, monitoring and O&M activities.
You will manage the cloud environments along with the team in accordance with commercially accepted best-practices to include security controls.
You will use both oral and written communication skills including providing design, SOP and security documentation; technical documentation and briefing materials to support presentations.

Qualifications:
Certification as an AWS Solutions Architect or relevant Cloud Certifications from vendors such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure15
years' experience in the cyber, networking, infrastructure arena5
years' experience in a Cloud Engineering roleExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google, IBM or Oracle CloudExperience with Ansible, Terraform and like technologiesExperience in automating installation, monitoring, and executing tasks in Linux scripting or PythonStrong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks, to include software defined networking via cloud providersExtensive experience with open-source technologies and system engineering and architectureAbility to research, identify, and test technology productsMust have strong initiative - be able to design and communicate solutions from stated high level objectivesMust have strong communication and interpersonal skills to work across organizational boundaries and with various levels of customers and peersMust be flexible - must be able to work on a team and within a teamMust be detail orientated, organized, be able to multi-task and be adaptable to shifting requirementsMust be able to work independently on tasking, deadlines and collaborate with end-users and managementMust possess a TS SCI with required polygraph clearance Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering or related technical degree; or extensive experience in related fieldThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
