Job DescriptionThe Mission Operations Division at Leidos is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a government contract in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The ideal candidate will be able to install, configure, support and maintain both hardware and software.
Additionally, the Systems Administrator will coordinate directly with the IT team and customer management to establish IT support and maintenance priorities.

Responsibilities:
Administer the customer's client-server configurationMaintain new and current systems by tuning performance, allocating storage space, and implementing critical system patchesCreate, delete and modify user accounts; use active directory and manage group policyConfigure and deploy Windows servers, Windows OS workstations, and client workstation software in a network domain environment through remote software deployment, patching, and upgradingConfigure server roles, promote server roles such as domain controllers, configure RAID, and configure services provided from network servers.
Install and update server software licensingTerminate Fiber Optic (ST-SC-LC) and CAT-6 cablingProvide procurement support to acquire software, software maintenance and hardware (not associated with enterprise software/hardware)Regularly employ ingenuity and creativity to develop new technical solutions in order to achieve IT objectivesRequired
Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with polyRequires 12 years of relevant experience and Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field.
Work experience will be considered in lieu of degreeDemonstrated experience with Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Server Update Servers (WSUS), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and Dell EMC Unity StorageDemonstrated experience managing and maintaining PC, server, laptop, and printer hardwareDemonstrated experience applying efficient task management and ability to adjust to changing requirementsDemonstrated experience working as part of a teamDemonstrated customer service and interpersonal skillsCreate and maintain system documentationExperience with VMware vSphere installing, configuring and maintaining VMware ESXi OS version 7.
X and/or version 8.
X Experience managing VMware virtual machines and servers through VMware vCenter Server Experience building, deploying, and maintaining virtual Windows/Linux workstations and servers on VMware ESXi.
Experience configuring VMware Datacenters, Shared Storage clusters, vSANs, and virtual networking through vCenter Server.
Experience with virtual machine configurations for high availability, redundancy, and compute/storage migration Experience with ESXi templates, cloning, and automation managed through vCenter.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $108,550.
00 - $196,225.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
