Financial Intelligence Analyst - 14000607
ASRC Federal Primus is currently seeking a Financial Intelligence Analyst in Chantilly, VA to support our Asset Forfeiture Contract with the Internal Revenue Service.
ASRC Federal Primus provides federal government agencies a complete spectrum of operations and maintenance, facilities management, logistics and business process support services. We strive to not only meet our customers' needs, but help them overcome challenges as well.
Key Role:
Conduct analysis of investigative cases (counterterrorism and financial crimes, etc.) and access, collect, examine data from a variety of sources, including public access and law enforcement databases. Perform financial transaction analysis, case/alert processing, and special projects related to investigations. Identify suspicious activity and prepare written reports that will be used to build cases. Analyze records to construct a financial picture of individuals and/or entities. Use knowledge of applicable tax law/policy to determine if criminal violations exist. Analyze information, create reports and present to findings to government client in support of investigations.
Basic
Qualifications:
2
years experience analyzing suspicious activity/criminal activity within financial/banking data and transactions.
B.S./B.A. degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
MS Office especially Excel as well as other software applications and databases
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Additional
Qualifications:
Knowledge of IRS Criminal Investigation Division's organization, function and structure desired but not required
Prior experience supporting other law enforcement agencies a plus but not required.
Working knowledge of government accounting systems desired
