ThePersonnel Security Assistantis responsible for clearance processing and customer service checks/inquiries.
Responsibilities
PSAs are responsible for clearance processing and customer service checks/inquiries. PSAs will initiate cases requiring clearances, run/request internal and external checks, request investigative work, track numbers of case initiations for various stakeholders, respond to written/telephonic client inquiries pertaining to case initiation status, verifying case status and progression, printing/providing internal reports to adjudicators and client management. This specific position requires a candidate who is very detailed oriented and enjoys working independently.
Minimum Qualifications
United States Citizenship
Ability to obtain and or maintain a Top Secret clearance including a polygraph.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience in data entry and personnel security processing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to provide high-level customer service and interact well with various stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
College degree.
2
years of experience in Personnel Security.
Knowledge of/experience in Intelligence Community.
