General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) has an immediate opening for a motivated Software Web Services Developer for our team. The position provides an opportunity to work with an agile scrum team that is tasked to design and develop standardized platforms (VM templates) and technology that can be automatically provisioned to an enterprise cloud to support application service providers (ASPs). The candidate will develop web services, integration scripts, and provide software modules that will be used to connect the VMs to enterprise services and systems (i.e., ArcSight auditing, PKI, LDAP, etc.). Key Responsibilities
Candidate will:
Develop web services libraries (SOAP, REST, etc.) for enterprise services to support ASPs
Develop configurable code modules that integrate to enterprise services (PKI, auditing systems, LDAP, etc.)
Integrate software into automated VM deployment technologies (e.g., VMWare, Hypervisor, etc.)
Have experience configuring software development IDEs
Web development
Experience: XML, XSLT, HTML, JavaScript
Java and Java component development
Familiarity with DBMS/RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server MySQL, etc.) and database development (SQL)
The Software Web Services Developer position requires a bachelors degree in a specialized area or equivalent field and eight to ten years of related experience; or masters degree and six to eight years of related experience.
Department of Defense TS/SCI (polygraph preferred) is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
