Seeking aWeb Architectto join our Healthcare division in a fast-paced, agile environment. This candidate must have proven experience in the design, development, testing of web applications usingHTML5and leveragingJavascriptlibraries/frameworks. As a key member of their development team, this individual must be adaptable to different responsibilities, possess strong communications skills, and have a passion for constantly improving the individual and team effectiveness.
Key
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for the design and development ofSingle Page Application (SPA) /web applicationsthat can run on different browsers, platform, and form factors, and which is aligned with the overall architectural approach and platform being used by the team. In this role, the web architect will assist with the design, vision, and technical implementation plan
-Utilize an agile incremental delivery approach, supporting incremental development of high-quality, fully tested application components every 2 weeks
-Utilizes a working knowledge ofHTML5, Javascript, CSS, javascriptframeworks such as Backbone.js and Angular.js, to perform daily development, automated unit testing, and troubleshooting responsibilities
-Adheres to, promotes, and helps maintain development standards and best practices; participates in regular code reviews
-Assist development/test teams in activities with acceptance testing, load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning as required
-Strong team player with good communication skills demonstrating the ability to work well with developers, QA team members and management to support all areas of the agile SDLC approach
-Proactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements in personal and team processes
-Contributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization; contributes to acceptance/functional testing duties and part of incremental feature development
Requirements
-Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable experience
-7
years overall design/development experience
-3-5 years experience in designing and implementing Javascript and CSS for web applications
-Experience with client-side Javascript frameworks such asAngular.js(preferred), EXTjs,Jquery, or Backbone.js
-Excellent communication skills
-Working knowledge of database technology
-Understanding of continuous integration and web services
-Experience with advanced JSON or XML
-Experience with contributing to an open source software project
-Experience with automated testing
-Knowledge of change management tools such as Git (preferred), Subversion, or TortoiseSVN
-Thorough understanding and proven delivery experience within a Scrum/agile project lifecycle approach to software development
