Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, lead, direct, and provide guidance to internal and external customers, ranging from SES level to junior level staff in areas of planning, managing, coordinating, and executing:
strategic communication
stakeholder engagement
incident response
campaign activities
policy
press releases briefings, testimony, memoranda, and executive correspondence
Initiate international liaison and coordination
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors degree in the fields of Political Science, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field with 4-6 years of relevant experience in communications, public affairs, project management.
Highly desirable skills/experience includes:
Design, implementation, management/execution of strategic communication plans, initiatives, and campaigns
Knowledge and experience with print and electronic media campaigns
Experience with stakeholder engagement and management
Experience with executive/SES level leadership
Excellent presentation and writing skills
Candidates with an active Secret clearance are strongly preferred.
Selected candidates may be subject to a background investigation for the
purpose of access to sensitive government information.
