ManTech is seeking a Project Manager responsible for the performance of technical projects in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Manage the scope, time, cost and quality of projects in accordance with customer objectives for several small IT teams in Washington, DC in support of a larger portfolio of IT teams. Responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading relatively small proposals or assisting with major proposals.
Develop and manage project plans, task trackers and schedules that comply with the program's Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Work with DoD clients to establish and monitor the program's execution towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria. Work closely with contractors, government program office personnel, and other program office support staff to effectively integrate, maintain, and control project plans, trackers and schedules. Develop well-defined schedules based on standard business best practices working with cross functional teams to develop the details necessary to complete analytical, schedule, and risk assessments. Participate in monthly program reviews, provide schedule and analysis feedback to clients, and apply experience and insight to the execution and scheduling of the overall project management service offering.
General Responsibilities but not limited to:
Manage time, cost and scope for several small IT teams in the DC metro area. These team deliver Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Systems Administration, Cyber Security and ITIL Service Transition
Manage projects by developing project plans, developing/maintaining schedules, tracking progress, analyzing results and reporting
Responsible for developing and managing a Project Level Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
Responsible for managing the contract/task order cost with support from Program Control Analysts
Planning, scheduling, and updating program activities in MS Project and other tracking tools (i.e Microsoft Excel or SharePoint
Establish milestones and baselines and monitoring adherence to project plans and schedules
Identify high risk areas and presenting recommendations to management
Analyze and manage program metrics to ensure that schedule are in accordance with customer guidelines
Lead small teams in executing project tasks/activities, supervise work completion, perform quality reviews and report progress
Approve timesheets, assist with completing employee evaluations, interview staff and assist with personnel management
Role and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Serve as Project Manager supporting all areas of customer delivery and personnel management
Report to the ManTech Program Manager in every aspect of planning efforts, new IT efforts, system assessments, project schedule development, cost, scope, quality, etc.
Prepare periodic status reports
Analyze project status data and to recommend corrective actions
Build and maintain influential relationships with key client personnel
Support corporate functions (time reporting, policies, etc.)
Support and promote growth of new and Task Orders to include proposal support as required
Position Requirements:
Demonstrated knowledge of System Development Lifecycle phases and deliverables with Microsoft and/or VMware technologies; Windows Server, Active Directory, SharePoint, Exchange, VMware
Experience managing Microsoft technology projects from inception to completion
Experience planning, scheduling, and updating program activities in MS Project
Experience identifying and performing schedule risk analysis
Experience establishing/maintaining schedule templates, processes, and procedures
Ability to work with minimal supervision
IT technical knowledge and experience
Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related experience
PMI PMP or equivalent certification
Must be open to 50% DC metro area travel (NW and SE DC). Some locations are metro accessible
Security Requirements:
US Citizenship required and active Top Secret clearance. Candidates with an active Top Secret clearance will be submitted for an SCI clearance
Qualifications Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related (technical environment) experience. Degrees Equivalent Experience/Education

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
