Description KBR is looking for a SIGINT Ground Systems Engineer to support one of our customers in Chantilly, VA.
This position will serve as a technical member of a dynamic systems engineering team supporting the Customer Ground Enterprise Directorate.
The candidate will provide Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) support for the acquisition, development, deployment and sustainment of Intelligence Community (IC) National Intelligence ground systems (hardware and software).
The Candidate will work as part of an integrated team including US Government employees, US Military, Federally Funded Research & Development Contract (FFRDC) and other SETA contractors.
The candidate will have daily interaction with the customer and support contractors and will need to follow customer standards and processes.
This position is focused on Signals Intelligence requirements, architectures, program verification and validation with a specific focus on ensure development contractor system closure.
The work environment is challenging and dynamic with a strong emphasis on delivering timely, relevant information to the Intelligence customers at rapid pace.
This position places the candidate within the World's premier SIGINT Ground organization.
Responsibilities include:
Manage requirements for programs and specific technical projects within the Ground Enterprise Guide requirements through their full system lifecycle from definition, allocation, derivation, verification, validation and deployment Utilize contemporary requirements, architecture and software development tool suites to effect system closure Author and update critical systems engineering products, including Technical Exchange summaries, requirements trace compliance products, Test and Analysis reportsRequired Qualifications:
BS in STEM and/or Business Management with requisite experience Proficiency with MS Office application suite Experience in Agile software development Experience with classic Waterfall Systems Engineering Experience using DOORS, Confluence and JIRA software application suites Strong written and oral communication skills
Qualifications:
Advanced STEM Degree Experience with IC and/or Department of Defense (DoD) space and ground architectures Experience in engineering and acquisition of complex space and ground NTM systems Knowledge of cloud-computing, cloud-hosting technologies Security Clearance Requirements:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
