Python Developer-Mid
Job Description (describe the day-to-day):
o Apply advanced skills in Python to develop capabilities as desired by the Government.
Provide technical expertise to other team members as needed in order to define and resolve technical problems as needed and meet program deadlines.
o Experienced in information system design, including application programming on large-scale database management services and the development of complex software to satisfy design objectives.
o Will analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas and develop block diagrams and logic flow charts.
o Will translate detailed designs into computer software.
o Will test, fix, and refine the computer software to produce the required product.
o Will prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
o Will enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
Qualifications :
o Working knowledge and experience with coding in Python o Ability to work in an operational environment where priorities change frequently o Proficient at gathering and interpreting relevant data and information o Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, good customer relationship skills, especially in a highly dynamic environment EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline is preferred with 5 years of relevant experience in software development OR 9 years of relevant experience in software development CLEARANCE:
Active Top Secret Clearance is Required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
