Summary:
We have an immediate opportunity for a Proposal Manager to provide support to the Business Development organization.
The Proposal Manager is a part of the proposal organization supporting NTek, a subsidiary of Goldbelt's Strategy and Business Development (BD) team in Chantilly, VA.
The successful candidate will be a critical member of a highly collaborative integrated team developing proposal submissions in response to Government Request for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Task Orders, and Requests for Quote (RFQs).
The Proposal Manager deconstructs government RFP documents to develop annotated outlines that form the structure of proposal documents.
The Proposal Manager will work with the Chief Strategy Officer, Sr.
BD Analyst, Business Developers, solutions architects and other subject matter experts to ensure that all written content is compliant with RFP instructions, is accurate and compelling, and up to the highest quality standards within tight deadlines.
This individual will develop original content, modify and edit other content, as well as tailor corporate past examples to address RFP requirements.
The successful candidate will lead and participate in color team reviews of proposal documents.
The Proposal Manager will develop and modify graphics concepts for development.
In addition, this position will monitor, track and maintain the opportunity pipeline and facilitate pipeline meetings and growth meetings.
This position will also update, track and facilitate the NTek growth slides.
The Proposal Manager will also develop response content by either generating new material or utilizing existing content.
Essential Job Functions:
Analyzes RFPs (specifically Sections L, M and C) to identify requirements and develop annotated outlines for proposal sections/volumes.
Creates draft page layouts, and mockups for proposal sections/volumes.
Identifies the need for and sketches graphics for each section/volume as appropriate; works with Proposal Manager (or Volume Lead) and graphics developers to create proposal graphics.
Works with the capture manager to ensure win themes and other desired technical content is incorporated into the proposal document.
Works with subject matter experts (eg, technical and functional departments) to create draft content for sections/volumes.
Creates drafts of each section using Microsoft Word-based proposal templates and proposal style guide.
Participates and leads in color team reviews.
Incorporates reviewed comments and prepares final proposal sections/volumes.
Supports preparation of responses to sources sought/requests for information; works with Business Development and Capture Executives to prepare compliant, compelling responses on time.
Maintains strict compliance with NTek policies and procedures relating to Business Ethics and Code of Conduct, in addition to the specific procurement regulations established by the Federal Government.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
Experience working with DoD community.
Experience in GWACs and IDIQs.
Excellent researching, reading, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to support concurrent proposals with shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Ability to manage tight deadlines in a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (eg, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work with a variety of colleagues with varying levels of proposal experience.
High comfort level with information technology terminology and concepts.
Ability to generate proposal content via existing information, or interviewing methods.
Ability to lead large team for business development meetings and activities.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of experience working in a government contractor business development environment.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Secret Clearance preferred Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or relevant technical subject preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
