Amazon Web Services is seeking bright, motivated, hardworking individuals to fill Data Center Logistics Specialist positions.
The Logistics Remote Site team in IAD is responsible for providing end-to-end inventory management services for server and network equipment used within the Data Center including:
receiving, RMA, media handling, parts transfers, maintaining inventory stock profiles, customer service, mitigating upstream/downstream barriers, establishing/enhancing processes, and general safety and security of the buildings and teams within.
A Logistics Remote Site Specialist serves as the face of the Logistics organization within a data center and will be the primary point of contact for Data Center teams.
The Logistics Site Specialist possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, a high degree of problem solving, and a commitment to Safety & Operational Excellence.
Logistics Remote Site Specialists will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of data centers, and must also maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all work spaces.
They must be available for any required overtime or weekend work on an as-needed basis.
Ideal candidates may have experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment, as well as experience and knowledge of reverse logistics processes.
Experience handling vendor relationships is helpful.
This role involves frequent lifting of materials and products.

30pm Monday - FridayPrimary Focus:
Remote Site Operations (data center)Physical / Environmental Demands Requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time.
Typically work is in a data center environment where the noise level is moderate to loud.
May also work is in a warehouse environment where the noise level is loud.
Occasionally assist in loading and unloading shipments.
Occasionally exposed to extreme cold or hot weatherWork Environment Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts Noise level varies and can be loud Temperature between 60 and 90 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 90 degreesDriver's License is required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
